Subject: Call for Applications: Workshop Alternative Research Methodologies
Dear Friends,
The SEASREP Foundation and SEPHIS are inviting applications for a training
workshop on alternative research methodologies, which will take place in
Quezon City, Philippines, on 8-27 October 2007. Building upon the
comparative experiences of Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean,
the workshop aims to provide PhD students from the South an opportunity
to strengthen the theoretical and methodological quality of their work
under the guidance of experienced researchers also from the South. Three
weeks of sharing, knowledge building, and practical activities will enable
participants to (re)design their research project, improve their proposal
and hone their research skills.
See attached announcement for more information. Please disseminate the
announcement to your colleagues and students.
Thank you and warm regards.
Yours truly,
Misael Racines
Program Officer
